their need for solitude, reflection and spiritual practice increases. In
this workshop, Suza Francina, the best-selling author of Yoga
and the Wisdom of Menopause: A Guide to Physical, Emotional and Spiritual
Health at Midlife and Beyond, will explain
how yoga supports women during this important midlife passage. Not
only does yoga regulate the hormonal and glandular changes that take
place during menopause, it is a conduit to more bodily and spiritual
awareness for women at a time when they need it most.

mat, four firm blankets, a strap, and a yoga bolster, if you have

Suza
Francina is a certified Iyengar Yoga instructor and Registered Yoga
Teacher with 30 years of experience in the field of yoga and women's
health. She is the author of Yoga
and the Wisdom of Menopause: A Guide to Physical, Emotional and Spiritual
Health at Midlife and Beyond
(Health Communications, Inc., 2003) and The
New Yoga for People Over 50: A Comprehensive Guide for Midlife and
Older Beginners
